Congratulations to EPXC athletes on running a great meet. This past Friday's races at the Wolverine Invite marked our best team finishes of the season! Both the girls and boys teams placed 2nd Overall in their races. This is especially exciting when you consider that all but 4 of the teams (Ft. Lupton, University, Berthoud, Strasburg) in our league and region were present for this race.

The EPXC girls ran first and were helped to their team finish by some strong individual performances. A 1st place finish and 20s course improvement from Regionals last year by Lily, a new season PR from Annalise, a new lifetime PR of 58s from Sam, season PRs for Skylar and Anya, and a 47s PR from Bethan.

The EPXC boys team were also helped by some great performances. We put 3 in the top 10 including Finn who placed 5th and bettered his PR by 5s, Dylan in 7th, and Mason in 8th with a 10s PR. Lucas beat his PR for the 4th time in a row, this time by 13s. Tyler bested his PR by 3s and Seth, Harrison, Oliver, and Blake all set new season PRs.

Thank you to the Shumates for hosting team dinner and to the Filsingers for filling the team's snack bin! As always, thanks to the parents for making the drive down to support and encourage our athletes.
