This past weekend Platte Valley Invite was a great opportunity for EPXC athletes to test themselves against most of the teams in our league and region. There were some excellent individual performances, but our overall team finishes were impaired by a large number of absences. With a full and healthy roster, there is no doubt that EPXC will improve on the overall 3rd and 5th place finishes for the girls and boys teams respectively in regional and league competitions 2 weeks from now.

Among the more notable performances on the day were new life time PRs from Paul (-3s), Zoe (-27s), Hayden (-34s), and Sam (-42s)! EPXC also witnesses season PRs from Skylar, Piper, Eric and Blake. Course PRs from Finn and Harrison. And three top 10 finishes from Dylan, Finn, and Lily who was 1st place overall in the girls varsity race.

A big 'Thank You' to the Basch family for hosting this week's team dinner, to the Robinson's and Feree's for filling the snack bin, and to everyone who made the drive down to Kersey to support the team.

We have a busy week ahead, please read carefully and mark your calendars.
