What a great week of running by all this past week! The hard work is being put in now and the results WILL speak for themselves on the rapidly approaching XC season in August. As we enter into July, please ensure you all are continuing to log miles, get in strength work 2-3times per week, stretch, and also recover!
There is a bunch of stuff going on this week, so please read carefully below:
Monday - O.Y.O (On Your Own) run. Please coordinate amongst your teammates to get out for some easy miles.
Tuesday – JULY 4th!! Unfortunately, there will NOT be a Stanley Run. However, EPXC will still be meeting @ 5:30PM (meet at Steamers Cafe) for our summer training run. For those wanting to stick around downtown Estes after the run, we’ll head over to Lake Estes and find a good spot to watch fireworks.
Wednesday – Lily Lake to Estes Cone Trail Run @ 6:30AM. EPXC will be meeting at the Lily Lake parking lot and make our way to the top of Estes Cone. Again, Estes Cone has some great 360 views of Estes Park, RMNP, and the valley. Pancakes served afterwards.
Thursday – Kind Coffee @ 6:30AM. EPXC will be meeting on the front steps of Kind Coffee. Bring some $$ for breakfast afterwards.
Friday – Rogers River Run @ 7:45PM. (Registration HERE) Let’s get a group Friday, July 7, in your glow and party apparel, to run, walk, or dance the 5K, all the way to the GLOW after party! EPXC will meet at the registration table at 7:00PM. Please email Coach Stafford if you plan on attending to ensure everyone is accounted for. If you cannot make it, get in some easy miles O.Y.O (On Your Own).
