Summer Training Weekly Emails

Starting the first week of June, you will receive a weekly summer training email(s) in which we will outline the upcoming week, any races we could hop into as a group and a recap of the previous week of training (hopefully to include photos). Weekly recaps can also be found on EPXC's blog HERE.

**Parents** Please know that you all are invited to all and any runs/training that we do.

EPXC Summer Training Binder

For those that have yet to receive their Estes Park Cross Country Summer Training Binder, please see Coach Harris ASAP! When we spoke to the incoming freshman (8th graders) the other day, we had run out. For those runners we have spoke already (including those incoming freshman), Coach Harris has your binder ready to be picked up. Summer Training Binders can be also found HERE, but we need everyone to have an physical binder in hand to document mileage, etc.

**Parents** Once your son/daughter has received their binder, we ask that you take a some time to sit and go through it together. There is A TON of information and we want to ensure that everyone is abreast of all items. If there are any questions, comments or concerns, please feel free to contact one of us.


On Monday, May 27th, is THE BIGGEST 10K in the entire US, the BOLDERBoulder. Coach Stafford plans to be participating and Coach Harris is leaning towards being there as well. There is still time to register but you must do it SOONER than later (Registration can be found HERE) do it NOW, lol!  If you plan on doing this race, please let us know ASAP. If there is enough of us there, we will send out an email of a 'rally' point to meet after your race inside Folsom Field as well as the best place to park (short distance from start AND finish line).

Pre-Pre Summer Training

We do have a few runners coming off their track season, and most likely, needing some much deserved rest. However, for those that have not done much or just itching to maintain that momentum, we encourage you to get out for some EASY, RELAXED, miles. Right not, its all about building that aerobic base!!!
